In case anyone cares I own this beast, and I have a friend who owns the 5-manaul. Each division has 3 channels, one for reeds and mixtures, and two to divide up the flues. The sampling is pretty lousy, but at the same time, it is a very versatile instrument with some nice colors.
The pedal board is cheap, don't go too hog wild on it. The keyboards are also cheap, but I've played worse on some Rodgers instruments. I believe the organ weighs around pounds, and barely fits through my front door.
Not sure the 5-manual would, it is a bit deeper. All-in-all, it is a fun practice instrument. Please, I'd like to know what amps and speakers you are using. A church in my State used a 4-manual Baldwin for services while their Cassavant was being re-built. They had it for sale a few years ago. Not sure how they sound, but I would think it would have had to be a fair quality to suffice for that church. I used to have all sorts of speakers hooked up.
Some Baldwin not sure who made, don't think it was vicount , some Vicount. Both with built in Amps. I've also had some additional Rodgers speakers and other variety. It was, at the time, what I could get my hands on for free as I couldn't afford much I was a college student at the time. Now, for various reasons, I'm just using the internal speakers, although, I do have an itch to hook stuff up again.
Curious to know what even works. Sounded good. On that particular instrument, we used a cross over, equalizer, and mixer to try to do some "voicing". It is rather silly to invest too much in this instrument, but at the very least it might make a nice midi controller!
