Thanks to all for responding. I was informed by a member in another forum that I could download the updated firmware Version 1. I downloaded the firmware and have just installed it. Now, the firmware has been updated to version 1. I have not experienced any problem. I did not have a serious test to see the increase in the driver's performance with the updated firmware. The only experiment I had was a disc copy of size 11 MB.
Each trial with the old firmware and the updated firmware took about the same time. I understand this is too small of a size to tell anything about the performance.
